This collection and shoe look into industrial materials and processes through a child’s playful and unrestricted mind. Defying what we think is heavy and rigid and turning it into an illusion of organic and lightweight, these shoes look to bend our perceptions of construction materials by putting them in a new light
In order to capture a playful feel in the design, I draped around the last to achieve more organic and random silhouettes that did not stick to the classic structure of a sandal
